- In September 2023, the U. S. Air Force awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation a contract worth about USD 705 million to deliver the Stand-in Attack Weapon (SiAW), an air-to-ground weapon for a new generation of air power. Northrop Grumman will develop the weapon, integrate it into platforms, and conduct flight tests for rapid deployment at its facilities in California and West Virginia.
