- March 2020, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc. has contributed USD 32 billion to its 'RB Fight for Access Fund' to combat the worldwide pandemic by boosting consumer access to hygiene, health, and nutrition. This initiative includes donating 10 billion bars of Dettol soap to the needy, 3.5 billion N95 (medical grade) face masks to frontline healthcare workers, and 1 billion litres of disinfectant products such as Lizol (Lysol) surface cleaners and Harpic toilet cleaners to public health institutions and frontline hygiene and sanitation workers across India.
- March 2020, Henkel AG & Co. has created a global solidarity programme to help employees, customers, and communities affected by the current pandemic. This programme includes disinfectant production at Henkel facilities as well as donations totaling 2 billion euros to the World Health Organisation, the United Nations Foundation COVID-19 fund, and other select organisations.
