- In June 2022, French defence giant Thales formed a new company, S3NS, in collaboration with Google to provide state-approved cloud computing services for storing some of the country's most sensitive data. As a result, it would provide Google Cloud capacity to French public and private organisations in accordance with the country's 'Trusted Cloud' classification.
- June 2022 - Oracle announced the launch of a second cloud region in France to provide public cloud services to help businesses modernise their overall operations. In addition to the Oracle Cloud Marseille area, the new region in La Courneuve, Paris, will give Oracle's European partners and clients access to a diverse cloud service offering that includes disaster recovery, built-in security, and industry-leading price performance. Oracle's unique dual-region cloud solution enables French customers to deploy resilient applications across several geographical regions inside the country.
