- In May 2024, Danelec partnered with Denmark’s DanPilot to unveil a new remote piloting system at the European Maritime Day conference. This innovative technology integrates navigation and operational systems, allowing ships to be safely piloted remotely without requiring operators onboard, which is expected to enhance safety, improve logistics, and reduce environmental impact.
